Hi, I’m Baranaba. I build at the intersection of AI, creative work, and human agency. Ideas draw me in. Making them work keeps me there.

I’ve been building things for as long as I can remember. As a kid, that meant simple circuits, little motor-driven robots, and rockets. I wanted to see what I could make move, what would work, and what I could try next.
Our backyard, my room, and the garage became my own little research facility. Getting my hands dirty was part of the appeal: an idea became something I could hold, take apart, change, and test again.

One of my early rockets, drawn from a photograph in my 2016 archive.

Testing rocket fuel I’d made from scratch, captured in 2017 and reimagined in ink.

Motors, loose components, a multimeter. Tools from my workbench today.
At fourteen, I started making simple games with C# and Unity. Software opened up another way to build: whole worlds with their own rules, places you could explore and interact with. Alongside that, I wanted my hardware projects to do more than a motor or a simple circuit could manage. Learning to code gave me a way into programmable circuits, too.
By 2018, I was building games for visually impaired players, using sound to open up a world. Later, a new question took hold: when an AI makes something, where do the people behind it go?
That question became Arttribute, and led into provenance research, autonomous agents, creative collaborations, and classrooms. The materials have changed. I still like finding out what an idea can become by building it.

From my master’s thesis to an open-source toolkit: recording the people, models, and decisions behind human–AI work.

The story behind it
Practical AI learning with real agents, guided sandboxes, and space to experiment. Bringing the spirit of a good workshop online.
The story behind itThe home for a connected body of work: private AI, practical education, and a clearer account of how things are made.
The story behind itMy research starts there.
My master’s thesis explored what we need to know about human–AI creation before we can meaningfully discuss credit, rights, and responsibility. I connected legal and governance questions to the design of a working provenance system.
That work became ProvenanceKit. The relationship runs both ways: research sharpens what I build, and building gives the research something concrete to answer to.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW · INSPIRED BY THE EAA MODEL
I facilitate AI workshops and training for people with different backgrounds, from software teams to educators and everyday professionals.
The goal is practical understanding: try something, inspect the result, and develop the judgment to know where AI belongs in your work.

Moringa School /Tallinn University
My path has taken me from computer science at Strathmore University to educational technology in Tallinn, autonomous creative agents at Eden Labs, and a master’s in AI for Sustainable Societies across Estonia, Finland, and Portugal.
Along the way, I’ve worked on health research and spent a lot of time thinking about how people meet technology. Moving between these settings gives me new ways to approach a problem, and real situations to test the ideas against.
